Job summary

AdventHealth in Palm Coast, FL is seeking a dedicated dietary aide to support patient meals and nourishment services.

You will prepare and assemble hot and cold meals, stock nursing pantries, and deliver trays while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and accurate records. Strong English communication and basic math are required.

Experience in healthcare food service and proficiency with MS Office is a plus; training provided to ensure compliance and quality care.

Qualifications

• MUST have basic math skills and able to communicate in English.
• Good customer service skills required.
• Computer skills required, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Physical ability to perform designated job required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble hot and cold meals for patients.
• Stock nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining inventory records.
• Serve meals on tray lines and deliver trays with proper ID checks.
• Maintain clean workstations and equipment; follow sanitation procedures.
• Operate café registers and monitor sanitation logs, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description:

Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency. Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining accurate inventory records and billing documentation. Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively according to required concentrations. Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records, taking corrective actions as needed.
