Job summary

Ashtabula Regional Medical Center in Ohio is seeking a Nutritional Services Aide to support the Food Service Department by preparing and serving meals, plus patient and staff cleanup.

You will manage kitchen and dining room housekeeping to keep a clean, pleasant environment; ability to follow written and verbal instructions and lift up to 50 lbs is required; ServSafe certification will be provided.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions.
• Knowledge of sanitation and infection control techniques preferred and ServSafe certification required or training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist Food Service Department with food preparation, serving meals for patients and staff, and cleanup.

Job description

Nutritional Services Aide to assist the Food Service Department with some food preparation, serving meals and clean up for the patients and staff. Will perform kitchen and dining room housekeeping duties in order to maintain a clean and pleasant environment for patients, visitors and staff.

• Must be able to understand and follow written and/or verbal instructions
• Knowledge of sanitation and infection control techniques preferred but will train. Will also be required to take the ServSafe certification through health department.
• Good organizational skills
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and walk for duration of an 8 - hour shift
