Job summary

AdventHealth in Lake Placid, FL is hiring for a full-time Food Service position. You will prepare and assemble meals, stock pantries, and deliver trays to patients with strict safety protocols.

The role requires English communication, background in food service, and a focus on HAACP and sanitation practices. Day shifts on a Weekend-United States schedule may apply, with strong team collaboration and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items following recipes and production requirements.
• Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments with proper inventory records.
• Serve meals on tray lines, record temperatures, and deliver trays to patients with proper ID protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors and equipment using safe cleaning methods.
• Operate dishroom equipment and cafe registers; process transactions accurately and monitor sanitation logs.

Job Description

• Prepare and assemble hot and cold food items, including beverages, following standardized recipes and production requirements to ensure quality and consistency.
• Stock, rotate, and sanitize nursing pantries and bulk nourishments, maintaining accurate inventory records and billing documentation.
• Serve meals on tray lines, record food temperatures, and deliver trays to patients using proper identification protocols and isolation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, floors, and equipment, using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively according to required concentrations.
• Operate dishroom equipment and café registers, process transactions accurately, and monitor sanitation logs and temperature records, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
