Job summary

Elder Services of Berkshire County, Inc. is seeking a dependable Nutrition Support Professional to support our Nutrition Program and ensure reliable meal services for older adults and individuals with disabilities.

Responsibilities include processing HDM enrollments, maintaining consumer records, coordinating meal routes, handling emergencies per protocol, and assisting with office systems and process improvements. A strong customer service ethic is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or at least two years of experience in consumer services or related field.
• Experience with older adults or individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, organization and problem-solving skills.

• Respond to emergency calls and updates while following protocols.
• Coordinate monthly menu distribution and assist with office systems, supplies, and improvements.
• Provide backup and cross-coverage to keep operations running smoothly.

Elder Services of Berkshire County, Inc. is seeking a dependable, organized, and customer-focused Nutrition Support Professional to support our Nutrition Program and help ensure older adults and individuals with disabilities receive reliable meal services.

What You’ll Do

• Provide friendly and professional phone and office support to consumers, staff, drivers, and community partners.
• Process Home Delivered Meals (HDM) enrollments, service changes, transfers, suspensions, and terminations.
• Maintain accurate consumer records, data entry, documentation, and program reports.
• Coordinate daily meal route coverage and communicate schedule changes with drivers and staff.
• Respond to emergency calls and consumer updates while following established protocols.
• Coordinate monthly menu distribution and assist with office systems, supplies, and process improvements.
• Provide backup and cross-coverage to keep program operations running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or at least two years of experience in consumer services, food service, or a related field.
• Experience working with older adults or individuals with disabilities.
• Strong customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
