Sodexo is seeking a Nutrition Support Registered Dietitian for a full-time inpatient position at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, a 700-bed trauma hospital located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Must have CNSC certification OR be willing to obtain it within one year of hire!

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments/reassessments and counseling for general and complex patients and their families following the Nutrition Care Process model.
• Provide nutrition support recommendations and orders in the ICU and step-down units.
• Participate actively in daily multidisciplinary rounds with the care team.
• Educate patients and staff, and collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
• Engage in quality improvement and research projects as opportunities arise.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education: Master's degree with required coursework and supervised practice as per ACEND standards. Eligible candidates for the registration exam before 1/1/24 may have a Bachelor's degree with equivalent coursework and supervised practice.

Credentials: Must meet eligibility for RD/RDN by CDR and become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states or facilities, credentials may be required at the time of hire. Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Management Experience: At least 7+ months of general supervision experience.

Functional Experience: Minimum of 3 years of specialized clinical practice.
