This is a part‑time position based in Salida, Colorado.
As Nutrition Site Coordinator / Head Cook, you will: Prepare all food according to approved menus and recipes, serve meals on time with proper portion control in a friendly, relaxing atmosphere, and make sure all staff and volunteers follow proper sanitation procedures. Compile and record daily, weekly, and monthly data, keep a current inventory of all foods and supplies, and order food and supply items as needed. Train and supervise the back‑up Cook and any volunteers in the kitchen, serving, and dining areas. Work with local agencies and media to develop and promote participation and community outreach, maintain equipment inventory and service records, and keep records of all state and local health inspections.
