Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a part-time Nutrition Services team member to support patient meal service. Responsibilities include answering phones in the call center, assembling patient trays, delivering and picking up meals, and maintaining stock. Training is provided, with opportunity to grow and learn new skills.

You will work in a collaborative environment, ensuring accurate orders, proper food handling, and clean, sanitary kitchen areas while supporting patient care.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and maintains serving lines including dishes, silverware, hot and cold food items.
• Assembles cold food items such as salads and nourishments and ensures proper storage and dating.
• Serves food, replenishes items, and cleans food stations after use.
• Operates cash register and handles cash payments; balances and deposits cash.
• Performs cleaning duties including washing and sanitizing pots, pans and utensils.
• Sets up and delivers food carts to patient and other areas; retrieves carts for cleaning.
• Assembles patient trays accurately according to dietary requirements and delivers to patients.
• Participates in quality monitoring like temperature checks and sanitation audits.
