Corewell Health's Nutrition Services team at Gerber Hospital is hiring a part-time patient meal service associate. You will join a team that handles call center phones, assembles patient trays, cleans dishes, delivers and retrieves trays, and maintains stock.

You will be fully trained and supported to grow and learn new skills. Responsibilities include preparing serving lines, serving meals, operating the cash register, cleaning equipment, delivering trays to patients, and assisting with quality

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of relevant experience (customer service) preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and maintains serving lines including dishes, silverware, hot and cold food items and ensures proper storage.
• Serves food, replenishes items as needed and cleans stations after use.
• Operates the cash register and handles payments, balances cash and deposits.
• Performs routine cleaning and sanitizes equipment and facilities.
• Delivers patient trays and verifies room numbers and patient details for accuracy.
• Participates in quality monitoring activities and reports issues to management.
