Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking a Team Leader for Food and Nutrition Services in New Jersey. This role leads and supervises food servers, dish machine operators, food handlers, cashiers, caterers, and clinical aides, ensuring meals are prepared and served to standards.

The ideal candidate has prior supervisory experience in food service and can communicate effectively in English. The position includes health and retirement benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must communicate effectively in English.
• Previous supervisory experience in a food service environment, preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assign personnel to cover all tray line, cafeteria, patient service and sanitation positions.
• Monitor performance of Food and Nutrition Services staff and correct problems.
• Ensure serving equipment, temperatures and stock levels meet standards.
• Approve substitutions and oversee timely meal service delivery.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of stations and utensils.
