Job summary

PVH Potomac Valley Hospital is seeking a Manager of Nutrition Services to oversee patient room service, meal assembly, and delivery. The role partners with nursing to improve patient care and manages the Nutrition Services Department.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a current Food Handlers card, and 3 years of healthcare nutrition patient services experience. Preference for bachelor’s in Nutrition and nutrition-related certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Current Food Handlers card as required by County Health Department.
• 3 years experience in healthcare nutrition patient services.
• Prefers Bachelor’s in Nutrition or related field with registration eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Conducts tray checks and ensures meals meet diet plans and portion controls.
• Oversees staff training on delivery standards and patient interaction.
• Maintains sanitation and safety of patient services area; addresses inspections.
• Monitors dish machine temperatures and HACCP compliance.
• Supports patient satisfaction initiatives and service recovery.
