Job summary

Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant Production Supervisor at the High School for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond. The role supports the Production Supervisor in carrying out the kitchen's school nutrition program under the Child Nutrition Director's direction.

Responsibilities include ordering, inventory, production records, sanitation, and promoting participation in School Nutrition Programs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in a managerial role in school food service or similar.
• SNA Level 4 and Food Protection Manager License required.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with menu planning systems.

Hutchinson Public Schools is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant Production Supervisor at the High School for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year and beyond.

The Nutrition Services Assistant Production Supervisor assists the Production Supervisor with the best plan to carry out the kitchen's school nutrition program under the direction of the Child Nutrition Director.

The salary range for this position is$23.00 per hour - $27.00per hour. Salary is dependent upon education and experience.

Schedule/Hours

• 192 days per year

Responsibilities

• Weekly & monthly ordering and receiving products from various vendors with regard to menu plans and catering.
• Inventory management
• Production record management
• Sanitation management
• Ensure compliance withthe School Nutrition Program Guidelines
• Market School Nutrition Programs through various promotions to increase participation
• Monitor equipment and kitchen supplies for repair or replacement
• Oversee Cook Lead and kitchen staff
• Assist with hiring and the evaluation of food service staffjobperformance

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in a managerial role in school food service or any other institution serving masses of participants is required
• SNA Level 4 and Food Protection Manager License is required
• Strong computer skills, including thorough knowledge of Google and experienceworking with menu planning systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Customer service skills are essential for contributing to the success of the School Nutrition programming
