Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network in Flower Mound, TX is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to support the delivery of nutrition services to patients. You may prepare and serve food items, set up dining tables and patient room trays, wash dishes, and assist with tray line beverages and nourishment deliveries.

This role requires a current Food Handler Certificate, basic English reading/writing skills, and prior food service experience.

Qualifications

• Current state Food Handler Certificate.
• Experience in food service and using food service equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Assures sanitation and quality standards are met.
• Washes and sanitizes dishes, pots, tableware, and utensils.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment as assigned.
• Prepares dining room tables and patient room trays with proper tableware and condiments.
• Performs food preparation tasks and assists in portioning servings.
• Delivers nourishment to patient trays and beverages for trayline.
• Maintains tray tickets and handles between-meal nourishments as assigned.
• Reports safety hazards and maintains daily dishwashing and sanitation tasks.
