Job summary

The Belmont at Twin Creeks in Allen, TX is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to assist in food service, tray assembly, sanitation, and meal delivery. The role supports patient nutrition needs in a Skilled Nursing setting.

Requires a State Food Handler Certificate; prior food service experience preferred; ability to read, write, and speak English; opportunities for in-services and a comprehensive benefits package including 401K with match and CEU reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Current state Food Handler Certificate.
• Experience in food service and using food service equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Sanitizes dishes, pots, tableware, and utensils as needed.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment as assigned.
• Completes Logs as assigned.
• Prepares dining room tables and patient room trays with proper tableware and condiments.
• Performs various food preparation tasks and assists in portioning servings.
• Prepares and serves beverages for trayline and dining rooms.
• Delivers nourishments identified with patient labels.
• Maintains tray tickets and makes changes as directed.
• Delivers soiled linens to laundry.
• Identifies and corrects safety hazards.
