Job summary

Hope Springs Care Center in Montrose, CO is seeking a Food and Nutrition Services Aide to assist in all food functions, follow regulations, help prepare meals, and serve balanced meals in a long-term care setting.

You will work under the Food and Nutrition Services Manager, perform cleaning, dishwashing, meal delivery, and maintain hygiene. Education required is at least 8th grade; on-the-job training provided. Generous bonuses and health benefits are among the perks offered.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at a minimum, an 8th grade education.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in preparing meals that are palatable and appetizing.
• Set up and deliver meal trays, food carts, etc. to designated areas.
• Assist in checking diet trays before distribution.
• Serve food in dining room as instructed.
• Ensure that food and supplies for the next meal are readily available.
• Assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes and utensils.
• Distribute and collect menus as necessary.
• Prepare and deliver snacks as instructed.
• Carry out garbage and keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazards.
