Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide to support meal delivery, dining room setup, and patient trays. The role includes preparing tables and trays, cleaning duties, and delivering nourishments to patients. A current Food Handler Certificate is required, and experience in food service is preferred.

You'll work to maintain sanitation standards, assist in food preparation, and ensure patient safety, with benefits and a comprehensive plan offered by the employer.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service and using food service equipment preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must hold current state Food Handler Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assures sanitation and quality standards are met.
• Washes and sanitizes dishes, pots, tableware, and utensils.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment as assigned.
• Completes logs as assigned.
• Prepares dining room tables and patient room trays with proper tableware and condiments.
• Performs various food preparation tasks and aids in portioning servings.
• Prepares and serves beverages for trayline and dining rooms.
• Delivers nourishments and supplements identified with patient labels.
• Maintains tray tickets and makes changes as directed.
• Delivers soiled linens to laundry.
• Identifies and corrects safety hazards.
• Follows and enforces care management policies as applicable.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
