Job summary

Cantex Continuing Care Network is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide for The Bradford at Brookside in Livingston, TX. The role supports delivering nutrition services, including meal prep, tray assembly, and dining room service, with a focus on sanitation and patient safety.

The position requires a High School education, a current state Food Handler Certificate, and English literacy. Experience in food service is preferred, and the role operates during the day shift with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Current state Food Handler Certificate.
• Experience in food service and using food service equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.

Responsibilities

• Maintains sanitation and quality standards.
• Washes and sanitizes dishes, pots, tableware, and utensils.
• Cleans and sanitizes equipment as assigned.
• Completes Logs as assigned.
• Prepares dining room tables and patient room trays with proper tableware, condiments, and tray ticket.
• Performs various food preparation tasks and assists in portioning servings.
• Prepares and serves beverages for trayline and dining rooms.
• Performs other cleaning tasks according to established schedules.
• Prepares and/or deliver nourishment and supplements identified with patient labels.
• Maintains tray tickets making changes as directed.
• Delivers soiled linens to laundry.
• Identifies and corrects safety hazards.
