Job summary

Arctic Slope Native Association in Alaska is seeking a Nutrition Services Administrative Assistant to support the Nutrition Services Department at Samuel Simmonds Memorial Hospital. The role involves data entry and collaboration with the Food Service Manager to maintain accurate records and dietary information.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels
• Must have English language fluency, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Enter manufacturer’s product nutrition information into DFM’s nutrient database.
• Enter ingredients and create recipes in DFM’s nutrient database.
• Obtain correct nutrient composition of each recipe.
• Ensure patient diet orders are interfacing properly with DFM & EHR.
• Print tray cards for every meal.
