Job summary

CentraCare Monticello Hospital is seeking a dedicated Nutritional Services Associate to join the dietary team. You will prepare, deliver, and serve meals to patients while reading menus accurately and ensuring safety and sanitation standards.

Part-time position with a 56-hour bi-weekly schedule. Starting wage is $17.46 per hour, with higher pay for experience; benefits include medical, dental, vacation, retirement, and employee discounts.

Responsibilities

• Accurately read menu and place correct items on tray before serving to a patient.
• Collect and remove trash to designated containers keeping work areas clean.
• Collect assigned trays or clean dining rooms following safety and sanitation standards.
• Operate cash register and wait on customers as needed.
• Work with co-workers to get dishes washed and food carts cleaned within deadlines.
• Demonstrate skill and good judgment when using dish machine, disposal, food carts, and other equipment.
• Clean work area upon completion of each task.

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Nutritional Services Associate. As a Nutritional Services Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive nutritious and appetizing meals tailored to their dietary needs. You will work closely with our dietary team to prepare, deliver, and serve meals to patients while adhering to strict food safety and sanitation guidelines. To qualify for this job, we’re not so much worried about your education and experience, though prior food service or customer service experience is helpful.

Main Responsibilities:

• Accurately read menu and place correct items on tray before serving to a patient.

Schedule:

• Part-time; 56 hours every two weeks
• Shift times of 5am-1:30pm, 6am-2:30pm, 7:00am-3:30pm
• Every other weekend and rotating holidays.

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting at $17.46per hour;however, we pay more forexperience.
  • Pay range: $17.46 - $26.41 per hour
