Job summary

CentraCare's Nutrition Services team seeks a Food Prep Associate in Saint Cloud, MN to prepare nutritious, high-quality meals while upholding food safety standards for patients, visitors and staff.

This full-time role (72 hours every two weeks) offers day shifts (5:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. and/or 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.), every other weekend, rotating holidays, with starting pay of $20.31/hour and increases with experience. Full-time benefits are included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe certification within six months of hire.
• One year of institutional, hospital, restaurant, or food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation and meal service.
• Prepare ingredients and menu items according to recipes and production standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of food preparation areas, kitchen equipment, and workspaces.
• Follow established food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors, and co-workers.
• Support patient safety initiatives and Family Centered Care principles.
• Assist with stocking, organizing, and maintaining kitchen supplies.
• Perform other kitchen and nutrition services duties as assigned.
