Job summary

Just Food For Dogs in Huntington Beach, CA is hiring a Part-time Nutrition Sales Consultant to greet customers and their dogs, make personalized meal, treat and supplement recommendations, and drive friendly, informative shopping experiences in-store.

You will build lasting relationships with pet parents by sharing pet nutrition knowledge, applying product knowledge, and following up to ensure satisfaction, while meeting personal sales quotas and upholding store standards.

Qualifications

• Passionate and motivated to improve health and lives of pets and their owners.
• Ability to assess needs, explain features/benefits, handle objections and close consults.
• Able to assist multiple customers simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
• Driven to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Experience with POS and iPad tools is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent time management and organization.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with customers and their dogs in-store and make personalized recommendations for meals, treats, supplements and other JFFD products.
• Learn and apply pet nutrition and JFFD product knowledge to influence pet parents to feed JFFD.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships; provide quality follow-up and ongoing support.
• Adhere to merchandising standards, housekeeping, inventory management and POS policies.
• Follow JFFD policies and procedures, including safety and security measures.
• Meet personal sales quotas and communicate insights to General Manager to help achieve targets.

Key Responsibilities
