Job summary

CentraCare Health in Saint Cloud, MN is seeking a Purchasing Specialist for the Nutrition Services team. You will handle inventory and procurement for the department, placing orders from the St. Cloud Hospital Distribution Center and ensuring charges are accurately generated for reporting.

The schedule is full-time with weekday hours from 5am to 4pm, roughly 72 hours over two weeks. Benefits include medical, PTO, retirement, tuition programs, and more.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum of experience in business and inventory control preferred.
• Advanced educational training at a vocational school or college in business and computer applications, or experience with comparable functions in food service establishment/institution preferred.
• Data entry and computer knowledge is required.
• You must possess a valid driver's license in good standing and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Procure inventory and purchase supplies for the Nutrition Services department.
• Review and complete department requisition orders; generate charges and operational data.
• Coordinate deliveries from the St. Cloud Hospital Distribution Center.
• Maintain accurate records and data for reporting and billing purposes.

Find your purpose working as a Purchasing Specialist for our Nutrition team!

In this role, you will be responsible for inventory and procurement of food and supplies for the Nutrition Services department. Job functions include placing orders for food and supplies from the St. Cloud Hospital Distribution Center.

Responsibilities will include reviewing and completing department requisition orders. You will be expected to accurately generate charges and operational data for the Nutrition Services Department.

Schedule:

• Full-time | 72hours every two weeks

• Weekdays | Hours 5am - 4pm (may vary)| 8-hour shifts
  

Pay and Benefits (Total Rewards):

• $22.85+ per hour however, we pay more for experience.

• Full Pay Spectrum for this position:$18.40/hour to $30.47/hour
