Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) invites applications for an adjunct faculty pool in Nutrition, Public and Community Health. Positions are part-time, appointed per course per semester, with responsibilities including teaching developmental and college-level courses and possibly distance-learning.

Courses may be scheduled weekdays, evenings, and weekends; primarily face-to-face with some remote instruction potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in teaching field with industry experience and industry-specific credential or license (if applicable to teaching field).
• Two years teaching experience, work experience in the field, and experience with on-line teaching.
• Master’s Degree in field.

Responsibilities

• Adjunct faculty positions are appointed on a course-by-course, semester basis. as needed. Responsibilities include teaching developmental and/or college-level courses, which may include distance-learning courses during the day and evening, on weekdays and weekends. Primarily face-to-face with the possibility of remote instruction.
