The position requires directing staff, scheduling, training and evaluating performance while managing workflows and stock to ensure timely delivery of nutrition support to patients and families.

• Strong team management and staff development skills
• Experience coordinating interdisciplinary teams and patient-focused services

Responsibilities

• Oversees Daily Operations of Nutrition Lab
• Coordinates daily operational activities with medical team members and department leaders
• Manages staffing, scheduling, performance feedback, and coaching
• Leads staff meetings and supports hospital initiatives
• Serves as initial contact for department issues and responds to urgent matters
• Acts as Technician during peak volume and staffing shortages
• Develops workflows to achieve desired outcomes and manages stock and supplies
• Handles hiring, onboarding, and orientation of staff
• Develops KPI metrics and trending data for Lab performance
• Assists in implementing new processes and goals for the department
• Preparation and dispensing of Human Milk and Formula
• Delivers items to rooms/units and uses hospital information systems
