Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System in Kansas City is seeking a Nutrition Service Aide to support the department's workflow, assisting with food preparation, delivery and service to customers.

You will help with set up, cleaning, sanitation of work areas, and inventory control including product rotation, labeling and safe food handling. When managers are unavailable you may be accountable for operations.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Experience with food preparation and sanitation practices.
• Ability to label and rotate products and manage inventory.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Nutrition Service Department workflow, including preparation, delivery or service to customers.
• Set up food preparation, clean up, and sanitation of work areas, dishes, wares or equipment.
• Assist with inventory control, product rotation, labeling and safe food handling practices.
• Accountable for operations when the Manager and Work Leaders are not available.
