Job summary

Clovis Community College is seeking a Part-Time Food/Nutrition Instructor to support the nutrition curriculum on the Clovis campus and at off-site community locations. Duties include teaching nutrition courses, participating in college and district committees, and contributing to program review and student learning outcomes assessment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications include Master's or dual degree qualifications as listed above.
• A valid CCC credential or equivalency is acceptable.
• Equity-minded responsiveness to diverse student populations is required.

Responsibilities

• Teaching courses in nutrition.
• Serving on college and district committees.
• Course development, program review and developing and assessing student learning outcomes to improve student learning.
• Coordinating the dietary service supervisor program; and
• Maintaining liaison with work experience sites, local school districts, and other college and university professionals.

Education

Master's degree in nutrition, dietetics or dietetics and food administration

Bachelor's degree in any of the above AND Master's degree in chemistry, public health or family and consumer studies/home economics

A valid California Community College Credential

The equivalent education and/or experience (requires an equivalency)
