Job summary

Essentia Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a part-time nutrition services team member (0.5 FTE) to prepare and serve high-quality foods in a hospital setting. Duty includes cooking, basic food preparation, and maintaining clean food-service areas, with Serve Safe certification expected within 90 days.

Day rotation, day/evening shifts, weekends and holidays required; compensation ranges from $17.11 to $25.67 per hour plus comprehensive benefits and supportive professional development opportunities.

Education Qualifications:

This position provides high quality appealing and nutritious foods to customers through food service through large and small scale cooking, baking and, basic food preparation, general cleaning and stocking of food services areas. Properly uses and cares for institutional food service equipment. Strictly adheres to infection control guidelines during food handling to prevent food contamination. Carefully follows Dietary recipes, guidelines, and departmental policies.Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in kitchen preparation and cooking, quantity food cooking experience or experience working in an institutional food services department
