Job summary

University of Florida is seeking a Nutrition Educator to promote EFNEP, recruit participants, and build community partnerships. You will plan and deliver learner-centered nutrition education using approved curricula to diverse groups, while collecting data to evaluate knowledge gains and behavior change.

Responsibilities include coordinating classes with partners, maintaining materials, and ensuring logistics. Travel within the county and occasional overnight statewide trainings are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience delivering nutrition education.
• Experience with diverse populations.
• Proficient in MS Office, Teams and Zoom.

Responsibilities

• Promotes EFNEP and recruits participants through outreach.
• Develops relationships with community organizations to support program delivery.
• Delivers nutrition education using approved curricula to diverse groups.
• Collects participant data and evaluates outcomes with confidentiality.
• Connects participants with Extension programs and resources.
• Travel within the county to deliver programs and attend meetings.
