Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the field is required to teach undergraduate courses OR a terminal degree in the field of study or closely related is required to teach graduate courses.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to two courses per semester in the B.S. Nutrition program.
• Delivery may be on-campus, off-campus, or online and may include day and/or evening sessions.
• Develop and manage the class syllabus to meet department and college standards.
• Plan and create lectures, discussions, and assignments.
• Assess grades based on participation, performance, assignments, and exams.
• Assist/mentor students as needed; perform other duties as assigned.
