Job summary

East Texas A&M University is seeking Adjunct Faculty for the Anthropology department. The educator will be responsible for teaching courses on a course-by-course basis, developing syllabi, and managing classroom discussions.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in Anthropology with at least 18 graduate hours and excellent communication skills. Prior teaching experience is preferred. Responsibilities include assessing student performance and assisting students as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Anthropology with at least 18 graduate hours in the field is required.
• Teaching experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with D2L as a learning management system is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to two courses within the discipline.
• Develop and manage class syllabus and ensure compliance with standards.
• Plan lectures and assignments.
• Assess student grades.
• Assist students as needed.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Excellent oral and written communication skills
