Atlantic Health System is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant to collaborate with nutritionists and healthcare teams to support patients' dietary needs. You will provide dietary care, communicate nutritional information to health professionals, and help ensure meals align with prescribed orders.

Responsibilities include coordinating meal plans, taking orders at bedside or by phone, and monitoring diet changes while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient's meal plans with healthcare professionals and nutritionists.
• Takes patient meal orders via phone and at the bedside.
• Assists with meal selections while taking into consideration cultural and/or religious preferences.
• Monitors patient meal tickets- this includes reviewing and modifying as needed to comply with prescribed diet order.
• Processes new diets, changes, tube feedings and NPO orders efficiently while keeping accurate records.
