Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center in Washington is seeking a food service worker to assemble patient meal trays, prepare cold items and ensure accurate portions.

You will review meal tickets, maintain sanitary standards and collaborate with dietitians, nurses and cooks to deliver timely meals. Job description

Under general supervision, performs a variety of food service tasks such as assembling patient meal trays, producing cold food items, portioning, review of patient meal tickets and preforming cleaning and organizational tasks. Adheres to all sanitary regulations governing the handling, storage, preparation and serving of food. Expediters work closely with Meal Service Representative, Dietitians and the Cooks to ensure quality meals are produced in a timely manner.
