Schedule: 11:15 am to 6:45 pm

Summary

Under the direction of the Patient Services Manager or Assistant Director, performs essential food and nutrition duties related to patient menu selection, tray and nourishment distribution, meal tray assembly, and setup. Responsible for kitchen operation in the absence of management.

High School Diploma or GED

Licensure

None required

Experience

Previous Nutrition Assistant experience required. Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets and kitchen operations.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for up to 90 minutes, lift and carry up to 10 pounds, and perform various physical movements including stooping, bending, kneeling, lifting over 50 lbs, etc. Visual acuity and hand dexterity required.
