Shift: 11:15 am to 6:45 pm

Summary:

Under the direction of the Patient Services Manager or Assistant Director, performs essential food and nutrition duties related to patient menu selection, tray and nourishment distribution, meal tray assembly, and setup. Acts as the primary person responsible for kitchen operations in the absence of management.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Licensure:

None required

Experience:

Previous Nutrition Assistant experience required, with strong knowledge of therapeutic diets and back-of-house kitchen operations.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for up to 90 minutes, lift and carry up to 10 pounds, and perform various physical movements including stooping, bending, kneeling, lifting, walking, climbing, twisting, stretching, and reaching. Capable of pushing, pulling, and lifting more than 50 lbs. Visual acuity and hand dexterity required.
