Job description

**Responsibilities**

As our Nutrition Assistant Lead, you will oversee the daily operations of Nutrition Assistants and provide nutrition support to ensure efficiency and compliance. You will supervise team members who deliver nutritious food to patients, families, visitors, and staff, promoting health and healing. Your role includes ensuring adherence to standards, regulations, guidelines, and procedures within healthcare food service, including monitoring food temperatures during cooking, holding, and storage. Collaboration with facility staff to ensure optimal nutritional care and demonstrating excellent customer service are essential.

**Responsibilities**

1. Exhibit extensive knowledge in food preparation and production.
2. Train new and current employees on departmental policies and procedures.
3. Supervise food preparation and service to meet menu and dietary standards.
4. Assist team members in applying procedures to minimize errors related to dietary guidelines.
5. Assess training progress and provide constructive feedback for performance improvement.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum:**
