MultiCare Health System in Tacoma is seeking a Nutrition Assistant to support nutrition services and patient care. You will collaborate with nurses, doctors and dietitians to ensure optimal nutrition for patients, families and visitors.

The role includes processing meals, menu modification and tray accuracy with a focus on service excellence. The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma, a nutrition-related degree is preferred, and prior food service or patient-care experience is desired.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Two-year degree in Nutrition preferred.
• Minimum one year food service experience.
• Minimum one year of direct patient care setting experience preferred.
• Minimum six months in a customer service oriented position preferred.

However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
