Job summary

State of Delaware seeks a Training and Education Specialist III to plan, coordinate, and deliver educational programs for the Nutrient Management program. You will organize materials, evaluate course effectiveness, and promote educational services across the NM team and partners.

The role involves researching delivery methods, maintaining records, and providing technical guidance on training. A focus on continuous improvement and compliance with applicable standards is essential.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience delivering training or education courses using a variety of materials and equipment.
• One year of experience preparing and maintaining training or education records and reports.
• One year of experience researching, selecting and designing courses, curricula, lesson plans, instructional methods, materials, or activities.
• One year of experience creating methods and tools to analyze and evaluate training or education needs and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and deliver a variety of training and education courses, services, and activities.
• Organize and prepare materials and equipment such as exercises, handouts, manuals, laptops, audiovisual or specialized equipment.
• Research and select delivery methods, materials, and activities to promote learning.
• Coach others and provide feedback to foster learning and performance.
• Collect and analyze data from surveys, course evaluations, and assessments to identify needs and effectiveness.
• Make recommendations for improvements based on findings and education standards.
