The Goddard School of Long Hill is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and experienced Infant Lead Teacher to join our outstanding team of early childhood educators. Key Responsibilities: As a Full-Time Lead Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating a nurturing, safe and stimulating classroom environment, and collaborating with other staff to enhance our curriculum and learning experiences.
- Create and maintain a warm, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for infants (6 weeks to 12 months)
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote growth in communication, motor skills, and sensory exploration
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times
- Monitor developmental milestones and communicate progress with families through daily reports and parent conferences
- Maintain compliance with Goddard, state licensing, and NAEYC standards

Qualifications:
- CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year experience in an infant classroom
- Strong knowledge of child development and best practices in infant care
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain upon hire)
- Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
- A warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to developing young minds.
