Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare (TMH) seeks a dedicated Child Care Provider to foster a safe, nurturing environment for children and to maintain daily communications with parents, staff and supervisors.

Required: High School Diploma/GED and 45-hour Florida DCF Introductory Child Care Training with competency exam; Bachelor’s in Early Childhood or Child Development preferred. Minimum 1 year of related experience; 3+ years preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma/GED and 45 hour FL Department of Children and Families Introductory Child Care Training course, including passing the competency examination
• Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood or Child Development.
• Minimum: One (1) year of job-related experience
• Preferred: Three (3)+ years of job-related experience.

Responsibilities

• The Child Care Provider provides a safe and loving environment for children which fosters positive self-concepts. Responsible for providing day-to-day communication with parents, co-workers and supervisors.
• Reports: Director/Child Care Center and the Child Care Assistant Director
• Supervises: None
