Job summary

Seneca Nation Health System in Irving, NY seeks a Nurse Manager to lead daily operations of the Medical Unit, oversee nursing, laboratory, radiology, and office administration staff, and ensure high-quality patient care. You will coordinate QA, risk management, and regulatory compliance across SNHS guidelines.

The role requires active NYS RN licensure, 5+ years nursing experience with 2+ years in supervision, CPR/BLS, and proficiency with electronic health records.

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS Registered Professional Nurse licensure.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing supervisory experience.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the Nursing and non-provider staff; evaluate performance and foster a cohesive, team-oriented atmosphere.
• Ensure appropriate telephone and in-person nursing triage is performed at all times.
• Create, maintain, and update department schedules.
• Train, orient, and assign staff; perform duties as needed.
• Develop and enforce policies; monitor QA and compliance with governing bodies.
• Maintain stock and ordering for patient care; ensure clean and sanitary workplace.
• Ensure accurate patient data entry in electronic health records and generate required reports.
