Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, the night shift Unit Supervisor at the Orange County Correctional Facility is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a designated nursing unit which includes ensuring quality patient care is being provided in accordance with established nursing practices and procedures. May serve as the Nurse Manager in her/his absence.

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, medicine and/or any related allied health profession and four years as a registered nurse with at least two of those years in a supervisory capacity. Directly related experience may be substituted for the education requirement on a year for year basis.
Must possess a current Florida license as a registered nurse.
BCLS certification.
Must be able to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
Experience in correctional healthcare.
Proficient in IV therapy and phlebotomy.
