Kindred Hospital Las Vegas – Flamingo and Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) seeks a Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing staff, assess patient needs, and organize training for unit staff while guiding clinical programs. The role focuses on maintaining high-quality care and efficient operations.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure, BLS, and at least two years of hospital nursing experience with 1–2 years in leadership.

Qualifications

• RN degree from accredited nursing program.
• Valid state RN license.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience in a hospital.
• 1–2 years supervisory/leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise and evaluate designated nursing staff; assigns duties and coordinates nursing services.
• Participates in developing nursing protocol and procedures.
• Provides continuing education and staff development opportunities for nursing staff.
• Assesses patient needs; participates in providing nursing care; ensures services are carried out and documented appropriately.
• Maintains patient health care records and supply inventory records; orders supplies and equipment.
