Job summary

Confluence Health in Wenatchee, WA, seeks an experienced nurse leader to manage a defined department, promoting high quality patient care and efficient operations. The role assumes 24-hour responsibility for staffing, planning and directing unit activity in accordance with contract guidelines.

You will supervise licensed and unlicensed staff, collaborate with physicians and nurses on patient care and operational issues, and participate in budget and quality improvement initiatives to support

Qualifications

• BSN or healthcare bachelor's/associate degree required or clinical certification/licensure with a BSN within two years of hire.
• 4 years of recent/relevant experience, including 2 years in leadership.
• Current licensure in Washington state (RCW 18.88) or via Multistate Nurse Licensure Compact.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a professional, team-based environment across the department and with other units.
• Collaborates with Charge Nurses to ensure high-quality patient care across shifts.
• Partners with physician staff to support patient care and operational issues.
• Leads unit rounds to evaluate care and patient satisfaction.
• Manages staffing according to contract guidelines and staffing standards.
• Contributes to budgeting, quality improvement and accreditation readiness.
