Job summary

Providence Hobbs Hospital in Hobbs, NM, is seeking a Nurse Manager to plan, supervise, and evaluate the delivery of nursing care around the clock in designated units. You will work with the Director of Nursing to ensure continuity of care and lead a team of caregivers with minimal supervision.

The role requires a BSN, NM RN license, BLS, 3 years of nursing experience, and 2 years in a clinical specialty. Preferred candidates have an MSN, ACLS/PALS, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (required)
• New Mexico Registered Nurse License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• 3 years of professional nursing experience
• 2 years of clinical experience in a specific clinical area
• Preferred: Master's degree in Nursing
• Preferred: ACLS and/or PALS upon hire
• Preferred: Specialty certification related to practice
• Preferred: 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Plans, supervises, and evaluates the delivery of nursing care, staff performance, and unit management 24/7.
• Works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure continuity of care across the continuum.
• Minimal supervision required.
