Qualifications

• BSN or graduate nursing degree.
• Unencumbered Florida RN/APRN license.
• At least 1 year of full-time nursing clinical practice.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Excellent time management and scheduling.
• Commit to at least four tutoring hours per week.
• Sessions may be on-campus, at the Sim Center, or virtual as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tutoring sessions one-on-one or in small groups.
• Review nursing concepts and help students prepare for assignments.
• Provide tailored support based on individual learning needs.
• Encourage study strategies and critical thinking.
• Identify external resources to reinforce learning.
• Maintain a welcoming, confidential tutoring environment.
• Communicate with the Student Success Coach and course faculty.
• Participate in CRLA trainings and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with the SON Student Success Coach for continuity.
• Uphold UNF policies on academic integrity and confidentiality.
