Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health, Inc. seeks a Nursing Technician to support non-acutely ill patients on an inpatient unit in Needham, MA.

The role reports to the RN and assists with activities of daily living, basic nursing care, and safety in a med/surg-focused environment. The incumbent will follow the Nursing Care Plan, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or CNA certification or equivalent experience.
• Nursing Assistant Certification preferred.
• MOAB training preferred; BLS/AHA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Familiar with nursing technician duties and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Performs care and procedures as outlined in the Nursing Technician Skills List.
• Observes Nursing Care Plan and maintains proper patient treatment and care procedures.
