Cone Health Medical Group in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Nursing Technician - Nursing Secretary Float to support patient care across hospital departments. You will assist with basic care and handle clerical tasks to help ensure smooth patient flow.

Requires a High School diploma, 1 year of related experience, Nurse Aide Certification in NC, and BLS/CPR. The role involves rounding with RNs, documenting records, and coordinating with staff across units.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of related experience is required.
• Nurse Aide Certification required (State of North Carolina DHHR).
• BLS (CPR) certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Assists patients with basic care including bathing, shaving and taking vital signs.
• Provides meals and supplements and notifies the RN of significant changes.
• Assists admit, transfer and discharge to keep beds available.
• Supports RN with hourly rounding and responds to patient needs across units.
• Monitors supplies/inventory and requests materials as needed.
• Documents charges and accommodation codes for accurate record keeping.
• Observes equipment and reports maintenance needs to avoid patient injury.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
