Job summary

Norwalk Hospital Association in Norwalk, CT is seeking a Nursing Assistant or EMT to provide nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Schedule includes rotating weekends and holidays with two 12-hour shifts and two 8-hour shifts weekly, between 7:00am and 11:00pm.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be a Nursing Assistant or EMT in the State of Connecticut.
• Minimum experience: zero to six months.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care as directed by the RN.
• Prioritizes assignments in consultation with the RN.
• Communicates with patients, visitors and coworkers courteously.
• Maintains compliance with policies and procedures; stocking and equipment maintenance.
• Follows mini-protocols and maintains computer skills (Eclipys, Cerner).
• Performs other duties as assigned and fulfills compliance responsibilities.
