Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking a Nursing Technician to support Registered Nurses by observing and documenting patient conditions under close supervision in Greensboro, NC. You will assist with daily living tasks, mobility, and basic care aligned with the plan of care.

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, Nurse Aide Certification per NC DHHR, and BLS/CPR certification. Prior experience is not required. This role emphasizes safe, collaborative patient care and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Nurse Aide Certification required by North Carolina DHHR.
• BLS (CPR) certification required by American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients with daily living tasks including meals and personal care to aid recovery and plan of care.
• Assesses nutrition, hydration, and elimination to anticipate needs and allocate resources.
• Admits, transfers, and discharges patients per the plan of care.
• Assists with clinical procedures such as measuring blood glucose, recording vital signs, obtaining EKGs, applying restraints, and addressing elimination needs.
• Maintains clean, safe environment by helping with supplies and equipment in line with safety goals.
• Verifies fall-risk patients have appropriate arm bands, socks, and signage for safety.
• Documents all procedures, patient interactions, and medication use to maintain an accurate history.
• Responds to delegation from RNs and communicates observations to support teamwork.
