Job summary

Corewell Health’s Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids seeks a full-time nurse aide for the 4G unit, providing support to medical and surgical patients with emphasis on digestive diseases and bariatric care. You will collaborate with RNs and providers to deliver patient-centered care during night shifts from 7:00 p.m.

to 7:30 a.m., 36 hours per week. Responsibilities include vital signs, glucose checks, hygiene assistance, basic wound care, and safety support, with emphasis on accurate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• BLS (AHA or ARC) Basic Life Support required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and monitor patient status.
• Check blood sugars as ordered.
• Provide bed baths and assist with ambulation.
• Assist with wound care and catheterization as needed.
• Act as a safety attendant and document care accurately.
