Job summary

Corewell Health’s ACE unit (1D) at Blodgett Hospital in Grand Rapids cares for elderly patients in a 21-bed Med/Surg setting. The Nurse Tech role supports RN-led care with vitals, daily living activities and documentation to ensure safe, patient-centered care for adults 65+.

You will work night shifts on a 36-hour weekly schedule. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering quality patient care under RN or Provider supervision.
• Take vitals and monitor blood sugars; document observations.
• Provide activities of daily living support: bed baths, ambulation, wound care as directed.
• Assist with catheter care and act as safety attendant for patients; ensure timely documentation.
